2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon oil
4 teaspoons lime juice
1/4 teaspoon lime peel, grated
1 dash tabasco sauce
3/4 pound scallops

Methods/steps

Combine honey, oil, lime juice, lime peel, and tabasco. Pat scallops dry, then add marinade. Marinade, stirring occasionally, for up to one hour, OR covered and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.


Preheat broiler. Arrange scallops in single layer in a baking dish. (If
you're smart, you would have marinated them in this dish!) Cook scallops 4" from heat for 4 to 7 minutes depending on size of scallops, or until scallops are opaque throughout and lightly browned.
