3 pounds beef pot roast
3/4 cup red wine 1 tablespoon wine vinegar 1/4 teaspoon pepper 2 teaspoons prepared mustard 1 bay leaf 1 teaspoon thyme dash cloves 1 onion, chopped 4 tablespoons flour 2 tablespoons butter 1 1/4 cups sour cream Methods/stepsMarinate meat in the next 8 ingredients for 48 hours in the refrigerator, turning it over from time to time. Simmer, covered, in 350 oven for 1-1/2 hours or until tender. Remove the meat and strain liquid, reserving the liquid. In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour, and cook until golden.
