1 pound pork shoulder, 1" cubes
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 carrot, sliced
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon thyme
2 cups cabbage, shredded

Methods/steps

Brown meat in oil in Dutch oven. Add onion, garlic, and carrots.
Cook 5 minutes, then sprinkle with flour and mix well. Stir in water
and lemon juice. Add salt, sugar, pepper, bay leaf,
and thyme.

Cover and cook over low heat 1 hour. Add cabbage and cook
20 minutes longer.
