4 pork chops, boneless
1 teaspoon sage 1 teaspoon rosemary 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 cloves garlic 3/4 cup dry white wine fresh ground black pepper Methods/stepsCombine sage, rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper. Press a little of this mixture into both sides of pork chops. Melt butter and olive oil in heavy skillet. Brown pork chops on each side and remove. Pour off all put a little bit of the fat. Add 2/3 of the wine and bring to a boil. Return pork chops to skillet, turn down heat, and simmer until chops are tender, 20-25 minutes. When ready to serve, remove pork shops to a heated platter, add remaining wine, and reduce to a syrupy glaze. Pour over chops and serve. Reviews |
