6 large carrot, shredded
4 oranges, seedless, peeled and sectioned with membranes removed
1 medium onion, sliced and cut into 2-inch lengths
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon)
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper

Methods/steps

Put all ingredients in a bowl and toss. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or more before serving.
