Makes
1/3 cup
4 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Methods/steps

Mix ingredients together, store in airtight container.

Spread evenly on prepared ribs that have been patted dry, with the membrane on back peeled off,  and let sit until the rub appears moist. Refrigerate ribs overnight to develop the best flavor, and barbecue.

Additional Tips

This rub adds great taste to your ribs. I usually slow-smoke them in a smoker with no sauce or mopping - they come out delicious, Memphis-style.
