Description

A family favorite. This pan-fried (sauteed) chicken is incredibly fragrant and savory thanks to the herbs. It is simple to make, and tastes great.

3 pounds chicken pieces
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon MSG (optional)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Methods/steps

Rub chicken with garlic. Set aside.

Heat butter in large, heavy skillet. Blend in the chives and then a mixture of the remaining ingredients.

Add chicken, cook over low heat 40-50 minutes or until large pieces are
tender. Turn occasionally.

Garnish with fresh parsley to serve.
