Deviled Chicken Breasts

This is a spicy and tasty way to jazz up baked chicken breasts!

2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1/2 cup water


Preheat broiler. Make a smooth paste with the butter and the 3 types of pepper. Place the chicken into a casserole dish and spread the butter over them. Place under preheated broiler for 3 minutes, turn the breasts over and broil for an additional 3 minutes.

While the chicken broils, combine the rest of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Pour over chicken and bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with a rice pilaf and steamed broccoli.
