1 1/4 tablespoons flour
1/2 tablespoon canola oil
2 carrots, sliced
1/2 onion, sliced
1 head broccoli
2 cloves minced garlic
8 bacon slices, diced
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1-1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon sherry
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Methods/steps

Mix the flour with water in a bowl. Add the soy sauce, sherry and pepper. Set aside.

Heat the oil in a frypan. Add the garlic, onion and bacon pieces and cook until bacon is mostly cooked but not crispy. Add the carrots. Cook for a few minutes, then add the broccoli. Add the sauce to the pan, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. Don't overcook.
